01
1 · Objective: One observable sentence from the action map, visible before the learner acts. “Learn about safety” is not an objective a mission can score.
2 · Constraints: Name the time, policy, or tool limit the job actually has. A constraint that exists only to make the game harder is decoration.
3 · Steps: List the actions in the order the person must perform them. Each wrong step explains why, not only “try again.”
4 · Debrief: After pass or fail, one sentence ties the attempt back to the policy or the workflow. Points without that sentence are not the lesson.
02
Objective visible: The job move is on screen before the first action. Hiding the objective until the debrief turns the mission into a guessing game.
Step feedback: A wrong step names what went wrong and what to do instead. “Try again” with no reason teaches clicking, not the job.
RTL rebuild: Arabic mission UI is laid out for RTL: step order, arrows, and labels. Flipping an English screenshot is not a localization.
03
A warehouse pick mission is not “use the mission template.” Start from one action-map sentence: pick the correct aisle, scan the bin, confirm the quantity, stage the pallet. Constraints are job-real: the scanner times out, the bin label is Arabic, the quantity on the ticket disagrees with the shelf. Steps are ordered actions, not tips. Debrief after pass or fail names which step broke policy. Wrong-step feedback explains why — “wrong aisle: the ticket says B, you scanned D” — not only “try again.” RTL means the mission chrome is rebuilt for Arabic reading, not an English layout flipped. The objective the learner sees must match one row on the CDLA action or assessment map before anyone builds the art.
04
Costume: Objective is the stock-photo theme. · Wrong step says only “try again.” · Arabic is an English file flipped.
Ready to build: Objective is one action-map row. · Wrong step names the missed constraint. · Step list, scanner, and debrief follow RTL.
